Our Beneficiary
We are proud and honored that fundraising proceeds will go to the Lynne Cohen Foundation for Ovarian Cancer Research. The Lynne Cohen Foundation is a unique national nonprofit organization celebrating 10 years of research and preventative care for women’s cancers.
Established in 1998, the Lynne Cohen Foundation is dedicated to the life, character and strength of its namesake, who died of ovarian cancer. Since 1998, they have produced a huge impact in the fight against ovarian cancer by:
- Donating over $6 million dollars to support the early detection and prevention of women's cancers.
- Creating and funding five Preventive Care Programs for Women Cancers at prestigious cancer centers throughout the country
- Establishing the Lynne Cohen Consortium to encourage and facilitate highly-focused, cross-institutional research to improve the screening, detection, prevention and treatment of women's cancers.
